Maureen brings a diverse background in childcare and youth programming, most recently serving as the School Age Childcare Director at Essex Junction Recreation & Parks, where she oversaw extensive after‑school and summer camp programs. Her experience also includes work as a special education paraeducator, camp program facilitator, and caregiver in a variety of settings. This broad professional background supports her adaptable, well‑rounded approach to working with children, families, and teams within the Heartworks community.

8+ Years in Early Education

Sarah joined the Heartworks Williston community in 2018 and currently serves as Assistant Director. She studied Elementary Education with a focus in mathematics at the University of Vermont and brings a strong foundation in early learning. Sarah began as an Infant Assistant Teacher, later becoming a Lead Toddler Teacher, a role she held for five years. In 2023, she transitioned into leadership, supporting the continued growth of the school community. She is committed to fostering learning environments grounded in kindness, curiosity, and meaningful connections.
